Established in April 2023 in Jakarta, PT Batuta Bahtera Jaya (BBJ) was founded to expand Batuta Corporation’s portfolio and complete its one-stop logistics service offering. BBJ acts as a crucial link between vessels, port authorities, and service providers, ensuring seamless coordination and communication during port operations.
With its focus on professionalism, speed, and compliance, BBJ strengthens Batuta’s integrated logistics network and reflects the group’s ambition to expand into regional and international markets.
Providing full ship agency services, appointed by the vessel owner to manage and coordinate all ship needs during port stay.
Handling the notification and clearance process with Quarantine, Immigration, Customs, and Port Authority (CIQP), supported by valid vessel, cargo, and crew documentation to ensure smooth operations from arrival to departure.
Managing crew changes for on-signers and off-signers, as well as coordinating medical assistance and treatment when required during the vessel’s port call.
Supplying food, beverages, and other ship provisions in accordance with the captain’s request and owner’s approval, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
Arranging legal bunkering services and fresh water supply for vessels while in port, carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with port regulations.
